Damaris Murry is the Director for Faculty Data Systems and Analysis. In her role, Damaris oversees development, outreach, and integrations for several administrative and research applications, including Scholars@Duke and dFac. She also represents Duke University within the VIVO open source software community. She was previously the Senior IT Analyst and Assistant Director for Faculty Data Systems and Analysis. She has a background in data curation, informatics, graph databases, and systems analysis. Prior to joining the Provost’s Office in 2013, Damaris was a chemist at RTI International where she helped develop the Nanomaterial Registry, a data hub of information on the biological and environmental interactions of nanomaterials. Damaris has a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.S. in Information Science from North Carolina Central University.
